What is hypertension, what are the symptoms, and how can it be treated or reversed?

Hypertension is another name for high blood
pressure in our body. It is a fairly common condition and many people suffer from it.
Hypertension may result in a number of health conditions including, heart problems dementia,
chronic kidney diseases, etc.

Interestingly, a large number of people who
suffer from hypertension will not exhibit any discernible symptoms. Some people exhibit the
following signs of hypertension: severe headache, fatigue, vision problems, chest pain,
irregular heartbeat, etc. Many people only find out about this condition through medical
check-ups.

There are a number of ways in which hypertension can be
controlled. Regular exercise, lifestyle changes, meditation, medication, reducing sodium intake,
quitting smoking, balanced diet, reduced alcohol consumption, higher consumption of fruits, etc.
are some of the measures by which we can treat or lower the blood pressure levels. Better
management of stress levels is also a key to maintain the blood pressure in a healthier
range.

Hope this helps.
